I have had several pressure washers. Agree totally an electric is hardly accecptable. I had a great power washer from wal mart. It was a briggs and straton engine 2500psi 3gal which never gave me a problem. It got stolen, I then "moved up to a honda 2800psi and 2.5 gallon. I have had several problems with the honda engine that were never a problem with the Briggs. If I were doing it again, I would definately consider the Briggs (cheaper, a little louder, less problematic). I think the brand I had was excel. The honda was purchased from Home Depot. I do like have an additional hose such that the washer does not have to be moved as much. I try to run all of the gas out of the power washer to keep it from clogging up the carb.
