It's great fun knowing you've already
put more into it in fuel than in capital expenditure.

That's my goal. The fewer dollars that I have to put into this thing, the better as long as it's safe and roadworthy. I certainly wouldn't buy a new engine for it or a used one that may cost 5 times what I paid for the car itself. Hopefully, I won't even have to go down that road.
