Hey Jim, check your turn signal indicator switch...I had similar problems
and finally one night, one the way home in the rain, my headlights and fog
lights suddenly stopped working...fuses checked out fine...turned out to be
the turn signal indicator. All is well now.

Did anybody mention fuses yet? But yes, it's a bad connection somewhere
along the line. Seek and destroy! (Don't forget the ground, it's just
as important as the others, and somewhat more neglected.)
