I'd hate to run those numbers here, most of ours would stink. But for absolute lowest cost per mile there's nothing like a Frankenheap, one of two cars we have at the other end of the spectrum. Cheap? Yes. Trouble-free? No, not exactly. Beautiful? Ha! But cheap, did I mention cheap? The thing is, to get stellar numbers you can't put money in for anything that's not necessary, and for those things that are you look hard at used parts. And the cosmetics go to hell. (Or stay there!) It's not what everybody wants, to be sure, and it's not even what _I_ want a good portion of the time. But in slushmobile season... -- Jim
