Quite possible too! I've had several bad GP relays. If the GPs test good, and you HAVE replaced the fuse, (and the new fuse does not blow the first time you try to glow) and it is still no start, then it is likely the relay is bad.

That sounds like the experience I had with my '84 300D when the relay failed. If the engine has decent compression it should start ok with one bad GP. The GPs are easy to test with an ohmmeter.
