Joe, Coincidentally, we opened today a new position at my company. It's a Linux systems engineer job based in CT or NJ, permanent position. Would your friend be interested?
If anyone on the list knows a suitable person, please let me know. We want someone who knows his way around a shell prompt and can use standard Linux tools to configure and run build servers, with a bit of sysadmin on the side. We write enough custom code to keep it interesting. --Fred Mora On Tuesday 28 September 2010 21:44:37 Joseph Apuzzo - [email protected] wrote: > Lake park which is a suburb of Orlando, the one cool thing is that when > the space shuttle lands, the sonic boom hits his house. > > On Tue, Sep 28, 2010 at 6:50 PM, Sean Phelan <[email protected]> wrote: > > Joseph, > > > > I'd try to think of this as an employer would, and there are different > > kinds of employers. > > > > Big ones might canvas all the sources, or just wait for headhunters to > > give them the leads. > > > > HH's are definitely on linkedin. > > > > Little companies are looking for somone good, but w/out so much risk. > > > > I think they both converge on on the "ask all your friends" tactic. > > > > Btw, where in FL is your friend? > > > > Sp > > > > On Tue, 28 Sep 2010 4:12 pm, Joseph Apuzzo wrote: > >> I have been working at the same company for 12+ years and well it's > >> been a long time. > >> What is the current way to find a job aka get hired?
