That was really quite nice. Uh, yeah, sort of. Windows 8 uses NTFS, and when you copy files from Linux to NTFS they won't have certain permissions. For "just file storage" like movies, mp3s, etc, that's fine. However a very realistic use for the 750 GB HDD would be as a /backup/ of your home directory that's on the SSD drive, via rsync. For that to work correctly you need a Linux filesystem rather than NTFS. Dealing with this can easily be put off until later though; you won't have much in your home directory to back up upon an initial install. ;-) > Prepare to cover me!
