TBC A ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating
for the crown is $25 ea., this will make the stock pistons much more
resistant to detonation
i can also do
Poly Moly A low friction, anti-seize, self lubricating coating. ($7 more
ea.)
OR
PC-9 The latest and most durable piston skirt coating ($12 more ea.)
for the skirts if i chose to...it sounds good, but do i need it?
My thoughts were also stock pistons-stock rings, but what's the point of
making the pistons better if i am still on the same rings? Is there a
treatment to make them better or is there a known better ring out there (known,
as in other than manufacturer claim)?

No, I didn't mean that. We include them on all of our pistons. He
specifically mentioned ceramic, which I think would just be crown
coatings.

Anything wrong with anti-scuff or anti-friction skirt coatings?
Unneeded?
