I know you already kind of checked, but what happens if you completely
disconnect the PCV system? It would be an easy test to run without tearing
down the engine. Also, could this be "turbo" oil and not "engine" oil? I had
bad smoke that didn't produce oil in the catch can. An oil restrictor in the
turbo feed line took care of it.
