How about with the IAC hose blocked off? You say 1.6 TB, but is it a 1.6
engine?

I was looking for a boost leak, which I found. But yes I still have
something causing high idle (1200) with the idle screw all the way in.  
I could measure the differential with & w/o the tb, but don't know if
there's a spec. I do know that when the idle was proper, I could stall
the engine by running the idle screw all the way in (closed).
