Rob,
If the Link goes down to 15% in the idle window, it means it has closed
the IAC as much as possible. If your idle is still too high, then you
have extra air (as long as the IAC is functioning).

Does that seem like excessive flow by the plate?

I don't know the origin of tb, but I'll try the paint thing. It was
cleaned before it was installed, but not with anything caustic... not to
say that it hadn't been done prior to that. I messed with the stop way
back, but I didn't check the actually flow by the tb with it shut, only
checked the idle change. I'll look at it and try the paint. thanks.
