Have you lubed it and have you checked the switch?? If it's running most
times it is either binding or the switch has high resistance in it limiting
the the power to the motor.

Concur on all..

Cat is worth more to a recycler.. last one I did was $60+ IIRC. (got more
for a single cat than an entire Miata shell, seriously!!!!)

Sold a nice stock exhaust once for $30, cat back with good mufflers and
everything looked nice.

Wallyman

p.s. I'll be cleaning out the garage soon too, so will have some Miata
interior bits for sale that I have collected in the last 7 years... same
thing, it just breeds when you aren't looking and before you know it,. there
are 8 boxes of it in the attic. Yikes!

Original springs - you may find someone who wants to switch back to stock
springs. But not worth too much.

Undertray is about $50 new. However, finding come in local club that is
missing one or torn up, worth $10-20. Not shippable.

Airbox - zip, MAF is worth abut $100.

Catalytic converter is worth about $30 to a recycler.

Exhaust (assuming in good condition, no rust), "might" be worth $50-100 to
someone. I replaced one on my sons 90 for price of picking it up.

   Greets!

Thanks for the previous advice... I did sell my car and the hardtop; did
pretty well IMO. Being a pack rat, I still have all the 'return to stock'
parts but I haven't been paying any attention to the market for years- some
of this stuff might be worthless in fact. Any input is helpful, so thanks
in advance!

Again, these are all from a '94 and have less than 40k on them.

Factory suspension springs, VGC- any value, or scrap?

Factory engine undertray/bellypan- VGC

NA 1.8 Airbox with MAF - VGC

Behind-the-seatback stiffening bar w/ mounting hardware and trim

Factory catalytic converter - VGC, ~30k mi

Factory downpipe and catback - VGC, ~30k mi

Also, I have a full set of Sealed Power VS855 valve springs (unused). IIRC
Randy Stocker figured out that these were a good high-rpm factory
replacement and at one point they were maybe going out of production?
