We are similar. I cheated on the 7.5" IRS, though. I took it apart and switched in the LSD before I bought it at Budget You Pull It (Now LKQ here). I have a friend that worked there and he said it was no problem, he just had to charge me for what I brought out. One rear end was one rear end. Your Explorer had to be 96 or 97, though, for GT40 heads.
