This sounds like Flo & Eddie opened the show - they didn't. They had joined the Mothers of Invention (along with bassist Jim Pons) shortly after the Turtles broke up. In fact, they were required to NOT use their real names (due to a contract), and so borrowed the names of the 2 Turtles roadies, The Phlorescent Leach, & Eddie, as their stage personae in the Mothers.
