the injury.
2000 – David Wilson, a British roadie for The Spice Girls, Oasis,
Elton John and Whitney Houston, is arrested for smuggling millions of
doses of Ecstacy into the U.S.
2000 – R&B singer Bobby Brown is brought to a Florida courtroom from
jail after being picked up for parole violations while dining out with
wife Whitney Houston, and tells the court he’s an alcoholic, saying,
“I have a disease. I am an addict. I am an alcoholic.” Brown pleads
guilty to his parole violations and is sentenced to 75 days in jail.
2002 – Michael Jackson, Sting, Barry Manilow and Ashford & Simpson are
honored at the Songwriter's Hall of Fame ceremony.
