1958 – The Andy Williams Show debuts on ABC-TV as a three month summer

1965 – The Beatles play the final date of their last European tour at the
Plaza de Toros Monumental in Barcelona, Spain.
1965 – Brian Hyland, Terry Black and Ian Whitcomb appear on American
Bandstand.
1966 – The Beatles arrive in the Philippines at Manila International
Airport, where they are met by 5,000 fans. The group is immediately taken
to the Philippine Navy Headquarters for a press conference, then put on a
private yacht where they are kept until early the next morning.
1967 – Following the completion of The Monkees’ first UK tour at Wembley
Arena the previous day, Brian Epstein’s NEMS Enterprises - which handled
the tour - hosts a party at the Speakeasy Club in London for the group.

1967 – The Doors appear at the Santa Monica Civic Center, with opening acts

2002 – Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon undergoes emergency colon cancer surgery

She is given a blood transfusion and survives.
2004 – David Crosby is fined $5,000 in connection with his arrest for an
illegal gun, knife and marijuana in a New York hotel on March 6.
2007 – Babyshambles/Libertines singer Pete Doherty pleads guilty to
possession of cocaine and heroin and avoids jail time by agreeing to go
into rehab.
2009 – More than 50 years after his death, the Los Angeles City Council
declares the day "Ritchie Valens Day."
