complex in Pompano Beach, Florida, on good behavior for his drunk driving 
conviction. Whitney Houston is there to pick him up from jail.

2000 – At his concert in Detroit, Eminem performs the song "Kim," about his 
wife, and abuses a mock-up doll of her on stage. Kimberly Mathers is in the 
audience and witnesses the performance, after which she returns home and 
slits her wrists. She is hospitalized, and the suicide attempt is 
unsuccessful.

2001 – June Pointer is released from her month long, court appointed rehab 
stay at Promises West in Los Angeles for cocaine and Xanax addiction.

2001 – The T In The Park Festival begins at Balado, Kinross in Scotland. 
The two day festival features Coldplay, Beck, Paul Weller, The Dandy

2001 – Janet Jackson begins her 72-date All For You World Tour at the Rose

2005 – Members of The Hollies ask a High Court judge to jail founding 
member, bassist Eric Haydock, for violating a 1998 court order not to play 
under the band's name.

2007 – *Ozzy Osbourne* is the first *star* to be inducted into the Walk of *
Stars* on *Birmingham**'s* Broad Street.

2007 – The Live Earth concerts take place at 11 different venues around the
