1959 – The Brothers Four record "Greenfields" at Columbia Studios in New

1960 – Buddy Knox and Jimmy Charles appear on American Bandstand.

1962 – Duane Eddy and The Rebelettes (Darlene Love and The Blossoms) record

Recorders of Arizona in Phoenix.

1963 – Joey Dee and The Starliters appear on American Bandstand, performing

1966 – In the Philippines, The Beatles sleep through a morning reception 
and luncheon arranged by First Lady Imelda Marcos, unaware that they were 
invited and expected to be there. Later in the day, the group plays two 
shows at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in front of 100,000 people. 
Following the second show, the group and entourage are forced to fend for 
themselves as angry police and civilians accost them for "snubbing" the 
First Family.

1967 – Tom Jones appears on the debut episode of CBS's new show, Spotlight.

1968 – Elvis Presley donates a Rolls Royce to the women's charity SHARE,
