On the other hand, while I have a gun I've never carried one with me. I've gone unarmed all my life and I've been alone in some pretty nasty parts of the country, both at home and on the streets, yet I've never needed to wield a weapon. Some say I'm lucky but I think it has more to do with my body language -- how I carry myself, how I present myself. There are those I call career victims ... and it has to do with their demeanor. If they walk, talk and look like they are fearful and timid they are a natural target for every scumbag on the streets.
