Alan, you demonstrate here the problem I referred to recently in
debating with scholastic theology. You present a definition which is
based on terms set forth within a particular interpretation of a
particular philosophical school and proceed from there. But your
metaphysical axiom of "perfection due a being" is only relevant within
the philosophical framework which you assume. The general validity of
this framework is not accepted by many. To use an analogy, you're
using one OS, many of your interlocutors use others!
