I don't have the scorecard  Allan but it is found everywhere.  You
know what I find very frightening?  That people  (all humans) might
have a "side"  that is truly horrific. In Rwanda for example. (not
right wing per se, make a note)  There were massacres where seemingly
ordinary people hacked to death , thousands and thousands with
machetes. Just because they were a "tribe" or an ethnic group. In
Bosnia?  Brutal murders beyond your worst nightmares.

 We can say these were just horrible people (they are)  but I fear
that they are somewhat ordinary people.  Something triggered them to
act this way.

   What I fear is that we have this side, this "switch" that can go
off when large groups of people start believing that another group is
"bad."  It causes people to not see people anymore.  They see them as
pests, no more than bugs to be exterminated.  Some sort of primevil
frenzy.

   I would like to believe in the good in people, but I fear there is
more than that locked away deep in the human animal.
