Yes I do own the movie, my favorite the original 1960, Rod Taylor, Yvette Mimieux, and the 2002 version and I also own a movie called Time Changer, another 2002 movie with interesting biblical takes, check it out if you get the chance. Of course in the Time Machine the Morlocks bred the Eloi for food, like sheep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morlock There is an obvious difference in society in contrast to what we have know in past years. You can call it what you like but I don't see as much of an advancement as I do see a regression and a tendency toward uncivilized and primitive behaviors. I wouldn't say it is the first time in human history this has happened but I would say that I am concerned about the direction of our culture or what's left of it.
