Yes.  This, too, is in Genesis.  After the fullness of creation, i.e.,
after the sixth day, God saw 'that it was VERY GOOD.'  So we must take
from that, that when we perceive 'evil', it is perceived by us in
order to produce a greater good.  Whether or not we recognise that or
not, or realise that or not, it is so, even if that recognition/
realisation is made by others years later.
