Luckily, the summary is still in the text:
 1) Love God with all your heart, mind and being
            and
  2) Love your neighbour AS yourself.

'AS', in that usage means 'no different than' rather than 'like'.
This is the summation, too, of the Torah, as expounded by Hillel. In
fact, Hillel went so far as to state: 'all the rest is commentary'.

I'd like to hear, though, your 'explanation' of the resurrection,
because I just (within the past few days) ran across a possibility (in
the realms of "consciousness space" and mathematical functions applied
across it via Set Theory) that could, in fact, alter the past. Which,
if true for one individual (Jesus, in this case), could undo that
which is supposedly fixed in the past (i.e., his death and what led up
TO it). I need to develop it a bit more, but, if I had to encapsulate
it for you into one word, that word would be 'forgiveness'.
Forgiveness changes consciousness by disregarding thoughts...forever.
And the Standard Model has always posited that forces should extend in
all directions (equal and OPPOSITE reactions!!), so an attitude about
X, which is removed from consciousness via forgiveness, could well be
the physical/mathematical process that alters the past as much as it
can the future. I'll let you all think about THAT one for a
while... ;-)
