You are correct I fear Allan, but you and I know that not a lot of people will truly walk the path of Jesus as not a lot of people will be able to overcome their own cognitive dissonance and bias confirmation. It seems quite human to have these, umm what, what do I call them? I hesitate to use the word 'failings', as it is similar in concept to me to call homosexuality unnatural. In that homosexuality occurs quite naturally in humans. So I shall go with normal operating parameters of the human brain and psyche.
So in effect what you are talking about is an evolution of humanity in order to disengage from these normal operating parameters of the human brain and psyche. Heheh or just better education!
