hmmm, another ac97 eap having problems with aucat.
just out of curiousity, can you try the following:
another thing to try (just as a guess that this has something to do
with block sizes) try starting aucat with 'aucat -l -b 8192'.
Well, that seems to have "fixed" the issue. Sound now plays over
aucat. Let me know if there's anymore information you need, or
settings/configurations you want tested.
