  heard that the 1.8 16v engines typically run at 220-240 deg. F which got me 
  thinking about my own. The MFA readout when the engine&#8217;s hot only 
ranges from 
  94C-102C (201F &#8211; 216 F). Do you think the MFA&#8217;s sensor has gone

  normal? The car runs Mobil 1 15W-50, the coolant is OK, and the water temp is

I'm not sure about details, but i do know that Audi TT has electronically
controled coupling, it is electronic clutch (was it HALDEX?) developed
somewhere in sweden and made exclusivelly for Audi.  Good. There
is a way to upgrade my Rallye. Just need to send a TT to junkyard ;-))))
