Alex, My 1.8L runs from between 192- 224 F depending on what type of driving I'm doing. Obviously, in stop and go, it runs high. On the open freeway it runs between 192 and 204 at 75 to 90mph. I run 10W40 Castrol. Brice

Do you think the MFA's sensor has gone or is this normal? The car runs Mobil 1 15W-50, the coolant is OK, and the water temp is almost rock solid in the middle of the gauge under all conditions. Any ideas?
