a recent-high-school-graduate friend of mine just bought an H&R cup kit for
his A3 jetta- he's really happy with it, and having seen pictures of it, i
think it looks very good after it takes a couple days to settle in.

i remember reading somewhere that the spring rates and shock valving are
similar to those on H&R's coilover kits, but don't quote me on that.

the potterpeople have the A2 cup kit for $550 at:
http://www.parts4vws.com/ - click the catalog link, go to the a2 section and
search the page for the word "cup".

Subject: What suspension to get?

Hi, lately it seems like its time to replace the shocks on my car, so i was
thinking that i might as well get new springs while i'm at it, and do that.
Question is, i was wondering what the cheapest yet good quality/performance
kit i could get. Anyone have any ideas? i'm not looking to spend much money
on this as i am a poor college student, but dont want anything too crappy.
Anyways, if anyone has some ideas on what some good products are out there,
it would be helpfull.
thanks.
