I've heard nothing but good things about the H&R cup-kit. But, keep in mind that this kit is designed to lower your car a bunch (slightly over 2" I believe). If your looking to go low with your car, then this is the setup you want. I personally feel that the Bilstein struts are way too stiff, IMO. This was probably amplified by having lower profile tires, but I've heard the same from other folks as well.
If you are looking for a decent (not the best/most expensive) setup, I would suggest getting: For a lower setup: H&R Cup Kit or Boge Turbo Gas/H&R Sport Lowering springs. To retain close to OEM setup: Boge Progas/Neuspeed SofSport springs. Those are my suggestions. Hi, lately it seems like its time to replace the shocks on my car, so i was thinking that i might as well get new springs while i'm at it, and do that. Question is, i was wondering what the cheapest yet good quality/performance kit i could get. Anyone have any ideas? i'm not looking to spend much money on this as i am a poor college student, but dont want anything too crappy. Anyways, if anyone has some ideas on what some good products are out there, it would be helpfull. thanks. _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
