I think it's funny when people get stuck on a brand being better than others... Basically there are only a couple of engine oil manufacturers and a lot of marketing companies. Castrol is a marketing company. Amsoil is a manufacturer - and I think they make oil for quite a few other companies. I think Mobil is a manufacturer as well but I'm not 100% on that. Whatever the case, syn is best and dino is pretty much all the same, given they have the same ratings printed on them. Clay
