What kind of spring rates do some of you people run front and rear? I was looking at getting some 400lb front springs and 255lb rear springs. anyone running these kind of spring rates on their cars?
Also i was looking at using bilstien HD shocks, or boge pro gas. Is there a big differance between the two other than the price. Do the boge shocks come with a lifetime warranty, i saw that the bilstiens have a lifetime warranty, but what exactly does that cover? Also if i do end up going this route, i will be buying new springs, shocks, and probably strut mount/bearings. From looking at Parts4vws.com it says that you can use G60 strut bearings as an upgrade from stock, this seems like a good deal as they are only 17 bucks each. I checked the vr6 strut bearing upgrade and it was much more pricey. How does the g60 stut bearings compare to the stock ones, and are they worth it? Finaly is there anything else that i should replace while i'm there? -Denis
