It is all dnsmasq as far as I know, so you can do some funky things, 
like tell the router to give one computer a different gateway or 
nameserver. You don't have to worry about DHCP scopes, it is pretty 
intelligent.

The assignments are done by MAC address.

PS: The WRT54GL (L for linux) is still on sale and is a great cheap 
option when using these alternate firmwares.
