Okay, after re-installing it twice, I'm fed up and have now installed Ubuntu. Xubuntu is nice, but if things and settings change, disappear, or just don't work anymore every time you boot, without having done anything but use Showfoto and, or, Raw Therapee, then no thanks! At least Ubuntu is extremely well behaved! However, despite Bleach bit, Ubuntu chews up a lllllllllllllllllllllllllot more disk space.
