Acanac provides us dsl via a bell dry loop. Uptime is more than 40 hours in a 
40 hour work week. In fact, uptime is 99.999% 

When it is not, which happened once or so in a month, I attributed the downtime 
more to dd-wrt and the router. Not touching
the Modem, but rebooting the router solved the problem.
