When I took that screenshot I had already reinstalled Mnemosyne by then, at least two times. And yes, I've already tried to remove Mnemosyne's data directory. I also tried removing all references to Mnemosyne in the registry but that didn't seem to help either.
This is a new computer so I can't imagine that it has anything to do with the drive. The hard drive is an ssd that I purchased no more than 3 months ago. I did notice that in the task manager Mnemosyne continuously uses about 17% CPU. Perhaps it is stuck in some sort of infinite loop?
