If there's a crash in Mnemosyne's own Python code, the program will show a stack trace. However, if the program is just hanging upon start, the only thing that is happening is initialising the GUI and loading the database. All of these are outsourced to C libraries, which I have no control over.
I suspect there must be something very unusual in your setup that Qt (the GUI library we use) doesn't like, as I've never seen this reported before. There's not a whole lot I can do about this, but here's a new version where I upgraded Qt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kt1i1nwmz83hw8d/mnemosyne-2.7.3-qt5.15.4-setup.exe?dl=0 Peter On Wed, May 19, 2021 at 3:36 AM Aaron Van Stralen <[email protected]> wrote: > Thank you Peter, but that didn't seem to make any difference.
