Have you tried to compare the HTTP responses you get if you do a telnet
to port 80 on the real_server1 and the reverseproxy, respectively, and
GET the thing that you know will give you a redirect in the response?

The ProxyPassReverse simply changes the Location: header in the response
I think. Hence if one redirects using a HTML META tag like
HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" or something I guess the ProxyPassReverse will not
work (but that is not a redirect in the HTTP sense)

Morten.

Thanks for this idea, but I'm sorry, that doesn't work...
In fact, the problems seems to be the same.

I have the feeling that the ProxyPassReverse directive is not used by
Apache
: the problem is exactly the same when I use this directive and when I
don't
use it.

Have you tried to use
    ProxyPassReverse /srv1 http://real_server1
instead of
    ProxyPassReverse /srv1/ http://real_server1/
(no slash at the end of the path)?
(don't change the ProxyPass directive)
I did a lot of experimantation with this and noticed that playing with
the
slashes sometime make the difference.
