Sorry, I don't see what I should do to compare the HTTP responses. In fact, you could perhaps tell me if, with the ProxyPassReverse sets to /srv1/ http://real_server/, I could hope a response at http://reverseproxy/srv1/
In fact, the actual responses seems to be at http://reverseproxy/ (the client browsers search pages at this address instaed of at the address http://reverseproxy/srv1/ Does ProxyPassReverse only change the IP address in the response or does it also complete the URL ? Thanks a lot. The ProxyPassReverse simply changes the Location: header in the response I think. Hence if one redirects using a HTML META tag like HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" or something I guess the ProxyPassReverse will not work (but that is not a redirect in the HTTP sense) Morten. ----- Original Message ----- From: "LEBRETON Laurent (IFATEC)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 12:11 PM Subject: RE: Problem with ProxyPassReverse Thanks for this idea, but I'm sorry, that doesn't work... In fact, the problems seems to be the same. I have the feeling that the ProxyPassReverse directive is not used by Apache : the problem is exactly the same when I use this directive and when I don't use it. (don't change the ProxyPass directive) I did a lot of experimantation with this and noticed that playing with the slashes sometime make the difference. -- Dr. Zvi Har'El mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Department of Mathematics tel:+972-54-227607 Technion - Israel Institute of Technology fax:+972-4-8324654 http://www.math.technion.ac.il/~rl/ Haifa 32000, ISRAEL "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all." -- Thumper (1942) Friday, 27 Tevet 5762, 11 January 2002, 12:35PM
