Roger that...

Like I said there must be one piece missing from this puzzle.  I ASSumed the
individual was getting upgrades in some manner but was not entitled to
upgrade to a higher level at minimal or  no cost.  Perhaps he is about to
find out this is his lucky day, or perhaps Vircom is about to find out it
has been doing virus support for free. :-)

Be assured that Vircom will work with any client that might still have an
issue with upgrading from version 1.4.

Your statement doesn't seem to apply in this case; we are not requiring any
client to purchase an upgrade - it's included in the service that provides
anti-virus updates. If someone does not currently have an active plan on his
modus server, he is already not receiving anti-virus updates.
