* This is the modus mailing list * We recently upgraded to the M3 from 2.x and we have a few customers that need to monitor all emails sent to and from certain users in their company. We currently are using a custom Sieve filter that Yves helped us with and then calling a .bat agent to move the messages to the bosses inbox. The problem we have is that after the M3 upgrade these customers are complaining of massive amounts of spam flowing through our system. My logical first thought was they had selected a different level of filtering at the user level or domain level and inadvertantly affected their users, however I have looked into this and it doesn't seem to be the case.
I then remembered someone on the list mentioning a different order of scanning now with the SCA engine being introduced. The only ASSumption I can make is that the custom sieve filters are completely bypassing the SCA and then causing the issues at hand. If someone has seen this and has a fix or can confirm this please let me know. I personally haven't seen a single SPAM since the M3 upgrade and have been extemely pleased with it's performance. I used to get about 65 messages a day that would slip through the 2.x filters but now I have not one.....reminds me of when I first started surfing the web and no one had my email address.
