norman or vircom causes this??

I stopped services and KILLED avupdate.exe

Restarted services and it was updated before I got the console open.

Our virus definition update had stopped as well, for almost 4 days,
would
get the same errors others have mentioned.

Tried shutting down the ModuScan and ModusAdmin services, and running
the
AVUPDATE.exe file that Vircom recommended, did not resolve. We had to
upgrade to 282 lastnight in order to get it to work. But it is working
now.

However yesterday dozens of copies of the MtDoom virus slipped thru and
infected our customers PC's, so not a cool thing if you ask me. Why did
it
suddenly stop?

I had the same problem last night until I stopped all the services,
exited
the console, reentered the console and restarted the services. It
downloaded
the update immediately.

I still cannot get the update, been at it all night. Good thing my
f-prot scanners on my relays have stopped 10,000 mydooms since
yesterday.

Error says:

Result: Error updating 'unable to create temporary download file'
(0x0070020)

My disk is not full :)
