OK, OK, perhaps I'm being biased and presumptuous again, but, yeah,
maybe it's time to take a break from the American Idol talk. I think I'm
starting to grow a uterus.
I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but I'm really curious;
what was it that drove you to become a collector of movie paper?
Obviously, we all love films, but where did you find that first piece
that set the hook? did you come across it by chance, or did you seek it
out? Who sold it to you? This ain't exactly a mainstream hobby like
stamp collecting, so what beaten path did you step off of to become a
hopeless poster geek? There's a treasure trove of old-time collectors on
this list, plus a fair amount of new blood (those guys under 70), and
I'm sure there's some fascinating tales out there. I always enjoyed
Bruce H's collector profiles...now I'd like to hear about some of my
MOPO mates. I'll chime in later; after months of lurking, I've suddenly
developed explosive MOPO diarrhea, so I'll give you guys a break and listen.
