Given the choice of my "lesser quality" camera which accurately depicts the coloring, and a scanner which gets better image detail quality but which greatly distorts the coloring, I know what I choose, but each seller has to go with what they prefer.

I also wonder if it is the scanner which distorts the coloring, or if the image was brightened after the fact. One would have to see their original unrestored scan to know for certain, and I doubt I will ever see that.

both are taken with my Canon-DC10 14.5 megapixel camera
when you answer these questions, I'll tell you the answers
(by the way.. if they are using a scanner.. that is a CMOS based system. The same quality can be easily achieved with a CMOS camera. keep in mind, they have to be using cameras that cost $6k-35K and not a $500 camera like myself)
