With all the stills you are selling this week Bruce, one would think you would care what the difference is between original and vintage (though maybe not CGC's definition).
I believe the answer to the question though is that Original relates to a still that dates from the time of the film's original release, while vintage means that perhaps they believe the still was struck later from the original negatives (like a 50s/60s still created for the original 1931 Frankenstein), and of course contemporary would refer to an even more modern striking of the image. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bruce Hershenson To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, July 21, 2010 10:54 PM Subject: Re: [MOPO] Slabbing question More importantly, does anyone care? The first is that the still is either Vintage, Original or Comtemporary. The second level is on condition with four categories. I just checked the website and they don't define Vintage, Original or Contemporary. Does anyone know what the difference is between Vintage and Original?
