if such things bother you so much, then why did
you - with no information available to you
what-so-ever - indicate that that me flipping the
bird to Andrew for his photograph, which you said
was done in 2011 must have been the reason for a
disruption at Cinevent even though you were 100%
incorrect as it was from either 2009 or 2010. I
think your duplicitous double talk is complete bullshit.
not that I think Richard needed to publish the
link, I just think you're full of shit Kerry

Didn't the originator of the first post indicate that if anyone wanted
the listing or ID of the lobby card seller to email him privately? Why
then would this individual, Evan, take it upon himself to post the
ebay item (and divulge the seller)?
Maybe it's just me, but it is these kind of moves on mopo and other
boards that almost appear to want to incite online bickering or verbal
attacks.
Should the seller have been in touch with Alan? Yes. Should there be
some "adjustment" to the purchase? If Alan wants to send it back, and
the seller agrees, of course, no harm, no foul. Should the verbage on
the card have been specified? Yes.
But all that being said, IMO, Evan had no right to take the initiative
and, in a sense, OUT the seller. Now that we all know who the seller
is, she has 100% feedback, and posts to mopo, as well. Maybe she had
an emergency? Or worse? The auction was completed a little over a week
ago. It isnt as tho weeks have rolled by with no resolve.
I am always curious, too, on these kinds of posts, asking for
"thoughts and opinions" on transactions that have not gone perfectly.
These often appear to be an opportunity to publicly bash others.
Unless the matter is NEVER resolved, why even ask the forum, when the
auction itself only just ended on May 22.
Just my 2¢.

"CONDITION: The card is not numbered. There is
pencil on Walters face and faint writing

the surface. Condition is Good-Very Good."

enlarged photo and, quite frankly, didn't see
any writing and thought it must be as described
('faint'). The link below shows the enlarged
photograph which was in her description on eBay.

arrived in the mail. I was totally shocked when
opened the package and saw the card. The
writing behind Walter Pidgeon's face, was not
faint by any means and the writing said "f*ck
you", written in pencil or pen. Link below
shows extreme close-up of this portion of the card she sent me.

written there and certainly the listing would
not indicate that it was 'faint' or hard to see.
