Ian mentioned at the bottom.

[Arlo previously]
I don't have to insult you, Platt. You insult yourself everytime you post. As
this latest post to me demonstrates.

[Platt]
Ah, there it is, just as I predicted. There aren't may things certain in this
world, but we certainly can rely on new-Marxist leftists to use smear as
argument, compensating their feelings of inferiority by denigrating their
opponents.

[Arlo]
Smear argument?! Let's see, your response to my entire post was nothing but an
excuse to trumpet some more "Arlo is a commie" and toss out ridiculous rhetoric
like "looney left-wing" and what-not. The insult you received came from your
own words, as you once again demonstrated that you are incapable of doing
anything but engaging in the most vile of distortive talk-radio tactics. Even
here we see such moronic rhetoric as "new-Marxist leftists", and the Great
Pee-Wee where you condemn smear tactics as you smear, smear, smear the other
person.

I mean, if you had responded to any one of my points with something intelligent
and meaningful, instead of using it as another sad opportunity to parrot
talk-radio soundbites and repeat the same boring and useless "fear those
lefties" nonsense as you constantly drumbeat, maybe this would've gone in
another direction.

So go ahead "evil lefties who hate freedom"... "Arlo is a commie"... "libs hate
'the free market'"... "government is evil"... "poor me, the innocent victim of
leftist smear"... "boo hoo hoo, libs use ad hominem on poor respectful
conservative"... this type of moronic parroting is really all I ever expect.

On the off chance you actually want to address _any_ of the points in my
original post, I'm here. You want to keep sucking on the EIB Microphone, then
go play with yourself.

But I'm sure all I'll get is another round of "Arlo the commie" and more
moronic "leftie" rhetoric.

(By the way, I did especially like the "Arlo should go visit the holocaust
memorial", that was a classic example of your evil, vile rhetoric laid bare for
all to see. Maybe in your next post you should imply that I enjoy torturing
puppies and molesting children. Then there's always "Arlo loves Pol Pot", I
have not seen that one in a while.)

Hey Ian, since this whole "smear others and then cry like a baby about being
smeared" is Platt's tactic du jour, we've seen it a dozen times recently, I've
come up with a name for this rhetorical trick. Let's call it "Boo Hoo Baiting".
It can side right there with the Great Pee-Wee, the Mighty Wurlitzer and the
ever-lovely Platteral Shift.

Boo-Hoo Baiting, as a good example, is the recent "Bush Bashing" nonsense
(which combines Boo-Hoo Baiting with the Mighty Wurlizter), in which those who
engaged in eight years of the most vile, disgusting bashing now whine and moan
and claim "lefties bash poor Bush so unfairly" whenever their man is criticized.

Of course, Platt's _entire_ response to my post was nothing but "Boo-Hoo
Baiting" (with some tired soundbites tossed in). Spend an entire post doing
nothing but slinging moronic statements like "Arlo the left-wing kook", and
then when you are criticized for this act like the noble big-man who is so
unfairly "assaulted" by "leftist smear". He did the same thing to you in your
last exchange.

And now you know the response we'll get... "two libs picking on poor innocent
Platt". And meanwhile, the original points I made, the same ones Stella raised,
are left conveniently dangling behind, in a great example of how this vile,
moronic rhetoric of distraction and deception works.
