I was thinking about something today, and this
was it. Those killing themselves. Those unmotivated
see no space to grow into. They are suffocating.
Creativity has been stomped out. Socrates, a
philosopher, somebody who came up with lasting ideas,
suffocated and killed himself, but he would have been
dead intellectually already, for the intellectual
level is fail, then the social, and finally the
biological level had to go, thus, the hemlock. The
static values holding each level in an organized way
that supports freedom, fell apart.
What I was thinking is how quality fits into
degenerative events? Maybe by noticing quality
degeneracy will halt and generative actions will take
place. It is noticing quality that spurs static
latches, and by not noticing quality that static
patterns dissolve. For instance, a free-for-all by
the residents had them reject the intellectual and
then social levels. They fell back on the biological
quality that helped them before such as aggression and
sexual appeal, but soon this fell apart. Aggression,
this I see as a very strong value, and it may
disappear for a day, but it would come easily. Sexual
appeal fell apart when somebody liked somebody else,
and this would have somebody want to hurt themselves.
Aggression did provide a sense that in hindsight the
residents noticed they lost control and it did scare
them, but obviously not enough for they would become
aggressive later. These biological values held their
own individual self together, and they feel they are
getting back at people and it made them feel better.
Strong social structures, as in following the routine
and them doing positive activities together did
strengthen the social level and they didn't fall back
onto biological level values as often. Yet, without
the intellectual level, which is sadly missing often,
the social level could fall apart at any time still.
They go to school, but it's a joke and a big problem
that staff and supervisors declare often, but the
school's principle and administration building find no
need to change anything. What other intellectual
opportunities are available, not much. Not much
catches their attention. This was the whole idea
behind dynamic quality. A catchy new tune, stir the
soul, etc...
