These two things have future predictions in common but only in the most vague and trivial sense. We could list their differences all day long and the fact that they both look forward is not enough to erase those differences. Astrology and astronomy both look at the stars but that doesn't mean they're the same. Same with alchemy and chemistry, myth and history etc. These things are connected in an evolutionary relationship and the similarities reflect that but the latter can't be reduced to the former.
