Thanks, David M. Again this morning we went to the jeweler who is making the ring just like those marvelous Victorian craftsmen used to do. It required making a clay model and a fitting. The guy reminded me of the bootmaker that John Galsworthy wrote about in a short story called "Quality," included on MOQ.org in the Forum under Essays. Hard to find the skill and dedication of the hero of that story today. We lucked out. Thanks again.
